Where
are you from? Breckenridge, MN When did you first get into music? Forrest Park Georgia in the Grade school band. How many years have you been playing in bands? Forever....I remember the 70's. How's that? Everything from Polka to Rock and Roll. Who are your favorite bands? Capt Geech & the Shrimp Shack Shooter's, The Eagle's, Wakefield, The Farafina Blues Band, Anything on the Capital label from 1978 to about 2001, Bryan Adams, Harlequin, Stevie Ray with Double Trouble and Albert Collins. What do you like best about being in Fat Daddys? That's easy... Playing in Fat Daddy's with family and friends totally makes it a memorable moment every night. The sheer joy of playing and experiencing all these times with our fans as well, makes this the moments to take in for me! What is your favorite “on the road” food? Hands down it would be gummy worms, sunflower seeds and gatorade for traveling. Breakfast at the Sawmill in Brainerd, MN. Lunch at Saboata's in Garrison. And probably Pizza after the gigs at the Roadhouse by Lake Ida. Thanks Matt and Stacy! What is your most memorable band moment? I have so many from years on years but most memorable would be all the one on one gigs like Kathy in N.D. who had cancer which she beat. Or raising awarness for Coats for Kids. Playing music for Law enforcement to raise awareness on Drugs and alcohol. Helping out youth baseball programs with benefit dances. Playing for National night out in our communities for Fire and Police depts. That's what I feel most memorable about as well as good to be able to give something back. |
